Since our Spring update a lot has happened! We have a new coalition government with more changes being announced daily. We are told that public spending will be scaled down significantly and new ways of working will be needed over the next few months and years.
Against this backdrop there is still a lot to do in Devon and the South West in terms of increasing economic activity and improving access to services before we are on a par with other regions. This means that we need to be more creative and focused than ever in developing projects that help our businesses compete and our communities thrive. We are passionate about getting these projects off the ground, including attracting funding, and making a real difference across Devon and the South West.
We look forward to working with you over the coming months!
